This was by far one of my favorite phish shows..........We made our way to the first main stage around 5:30 so we could be close for phish.........snoop dog came on 30 minutes late.....that was a good time.... then the beastie boys.......before they came on stage I was standing in the crowd and I saw this man wearing an indiana jones hat with a vile in his hand.......I told him it was my 2nd show and I didnt have ne money but I would give him all the rest of my cigs and a bottle of water for a taste.......he smiled shook my hand and introduced himself......he said He was at the last show before they broke up and he swore he would never trip until phish got back together......he told me after they announced bonnaroo he bought his ticket and he would be happy to share.....then he poured a few drops in my hand and winked at me and said see u on the other side.....then the boys came out and my world changed forever.....Ill never forget u jon.....Ill never forget that moment in time.......thank you PHISH!

cjfphan21 My first show. Anyone who says Bonnaroo shows shouldn't count as a first show can suck it. CDT opener was awesome. When Divided Sky started, I almost lost my mind. It was one of the few Phish songs that, at the time, I had become very fond of. The Disease was solid, and I didn't know Alaska at the time, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The following Stash, Golgi and Wolfman's I loved, all three being some of my favorites. The Hood is adequate. When they went into Wilson, I felt a bit discouraged because I didn't think they were going to finish YEM. I didn't fully appreciate what was happening at the time, but I was glad they did. A Day in the Life encore to top it off and you got yourself a stew baby! Or a full-length Phish show played in one set.

definitely was a pretty solid show, wish i could've managed my way a bit closer through the roo crowd but the tunes were all that mattered anyways. the YEM was great, but by the time the encore came on I was blackout. thumbs up

Solid standard Chalk Dust opener. It was cool that they were playing a headlining late night set. Great energy through Possum, and Disease killed it.

Not a big fan of Alaska, and Stash was subpar at best. Golgi was fun as usual. Wolfman's Brother stood out as many 3.0 versions have. Stellar groove. This was Kill Devil Falls most exploratory jam by far at this point (and still is) for the song. Decent jam by definitely whale called a bit too much.

Hood>Highway to Hell was fucking awesome. I remember my friend tripping balls during the Hood jam and then brought back to reality during the opening chords of the AC/DC classic. Great bustout. 2001 was a great dance party with 80,000 other people. YEM->Wilson->YEM was definitely interesting but I wish they would have jammed out YEM a bit longer.

Overall a great show. The atmosphere was top notch in its late night slot at Bonnaroo. The setlist also relatively strong, with standout jams in DWD and KDF.

As my first Phish show im gonna say it was phenomenal. i was 3 rows back dead in the middle of mike and trey and before the band ever struck a note i was in heaven. chalkdust was a great way to start the show with some nice energy. the disease really hit nicely. wolfman was nice as i remember with a pretty good jam. kill devil's was fun but i can't wait till they really bust out on that one. highlight of the night and i would say the whole show was the yem> wilson> yem. all around a good show but i cant wait to see them at at PHISH show.
