Review by Roofless_Sheds

Roofless_Sheds NOTE: Review of the electric portion ONLY! I haven't had a chance to delve into the acoustic first set yet.

Less than three and a half years since the legendary 12/14/95 Phish show in Binghamton, Trey returns to lay waste once again. This show is hot, hot, HOT!

Just stumbled across the entire thing, stream-able on GrooveShark. Excellent audience recording, and the band digs even deeper - with more impressive results - than they do on the famous circulating SBD from the same tour at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC.

Jibboo is 15 minutes, Sand runs a gnarly 25, First Tube and Last Tube are their explosive, celebratory selves even in infant form, the covers are delivered with joy and reverence, and the crowd devours every second. It's easy to forget that 80% of the electric material was brand new to them at the time!

If you want to give a listen to a full show from Trey's first solo tour in '99, I don't think you can do much better than this one right here.
