Subject: Reviews of London 7-11-96

Hey Dan,
I attended the London and Amsterdam shows a few weeks ago. I'm European,
I live in Belgium. It would be nice if you could add my reviews to your
page. Here they are:

London 07/11/96.

Although the setlist of the London show appears to be usual we can tell
you that it was great. The guys started with RUNAWAY JIM. This was a usual
one with a little jam like always. It was followed by CAVERN that allowed
the very enthousiastic crowd to really DANCE. We were then offered REBA
that sounded very nice but was not finished, by not finished we mean the
wistle part at the end. I DIDN^T KNOW was great and was of course played
with a vacuum jam. After a common SPARKLE we arrived at the 2 first
highlightd of the show. STASH was incredible and could defenately compete
with the version on A LIVE ONE. SCENT OF A MULE was for Page. It was
impossible to stop him. You could see Trey trying to talk to Page so that
he could also begin to play. This Scent lasted at least 15 minutes. When
you^ll get the tapes you should defenately listen to Page^s work on it.
The first set was conclued with the always enjoyable SAMPLE IN A JAR. The
first set was 1 Hour.

Remarquably Set 2 began with HARRY HOOD. This doesn^t happen every day.
Harry was disappointing, it didn^t even last 15 minutes but it jammed
incredibley into BOUNCING AROUND THE ROOM. We^re now approaching to THE
highlight of the concert. 2001 was usual and jammed into MAZE. THIS IS
DEFENATELY THE GREATEST MAZE EVER!!!!!! I talked to a lot of people after
the show who all agreed that this MAZE will make history. After being
knocked out by Maze we were cooled off by LIZARDS. It was an usual 10
minutes Lizards. Another big moment of the evening was TERRAPIN who was
sung by FISH. Trey played the drums and Fish was again allowed to perform
a vacuum solo. The second of the evening. Whan I thought this would be
the end of the show as far as long songs, they decided to play YEM. Great
yem. Also one of those that are great listening. Trey^s solo was very
powerfull and the vocal jam was completely nuts. The band ended the second
set with HELLO MY BABY wich was sung acappella without mics. Set 2 was 1
Hour 20 min. As for the encore I guess it was a tribute to England as they
played A DAY IN THE LIFE. This was a great show. Everyone should have the
tapes of these shows.

Thanks,

                            Steve
