Phish.net: a Project of the Mockingbird Foundation

Phish.net's 20th Year

Phish.net began in the spring of 1990 as a Majordomo mailing list for fewer than 100 fans, and has grown into a leading content provider stewarded by a 501c3 nonprofit with more than a dozen partners helping raise funds for music education. We welcome your assistance in fleshing out the dates and landmarks in that history, throughout which Phish.net has remained by fans, for fans - for 20 years and counting. Meanwhile, as we begin to move from beta to the full-fledged Phish.net 3.0, we invite you to share what you've experienced here with others. Here are some links to get you going...

Phriendly_PhilWonderful work ladies and gentlemen! Glad to see the apparent success. Hopefully the 20th year of "Phish.net" will also be the 27th year of Phish, playing shows for us that is! I'm enjoying the March 8, 2009 Hampton Show right now and I noticed it was the featured show today. Pretty fantastic stuff. Good luck to you and see you soon!

crobar2kNone of my friends believe me that Phish fans were at the forefront of the internet revolution as was the band. Is there any place I could check out that talks about Phish and it's histroy with the internet? Thanks and congratulations!
