Can I Bring My Dog To Shows?
NO! Pets do not belong on tour. They don't enjoy it. It isn't good for them. And it isn't good for others. Leave them home.
Some people routinely bring animals (dogs and, yes, even cats) on tour (some have even been stupid enough to get a pet for tour), which is widely recognized as witless for these reasons:
The official site for IT read in part, "If a pet (other than a service pet) is found in your vehicle, you will be turned away - regardless of how long you have waited in line or whether you have your ticket. We have learned from experience that pets, especially dogs, have been trapped in overheated vehicles, bitten people, roamed in packs and been lost, much to the anguish of their owners. These events are not designed for pets, even pets that are really into Phish. Please do your pet a favor, as well as your camping neighbors, by not bringing it to the festival. Unleashed and unattended pets will be picked up and placed with the local humane society."
"My own home is boring. I want to stay here and be a lizard!"
