"All Things Reconsidered" was performed (not for the first time) on Mountain Stage (another NPR show), another NPR show, in early 1992. (On http://www.mockingbirdfoundation.org/setlists/1992.html#03-25-92">3-25-92, Trey noted that the band had "botched it, after waiting months and months to play it.")

It has been played since, during the interludes between stories on All Things Considered, for instance in 3/93 and again on 1/31/96 at 6:25pm.

Also, according to MPDesape, on 2/24/96 "at 9:30 CST ... they played a Contact loop during 'Car Talk', another NPR show. "Click and Clack (Tom and Ray Magliozzi), the hosts of "Car Talk" referred to Contact (this is not a direct quote) as arguably the worst song ever written about an automobile," reported ZachariachD 7/7/99.) And The first 30 seconds or so of "Sparkle" was used between news segments on NPR's morning show during the 97/98 winter. (Adam R. Kurth 11/28/00)
