uctweezer I saw an entire bachelorette party of maybe a dozen women get turned away at the gates of Frost Amphitheater at JRAD this summer - after waiting in the half hour-long line to get in - because they had the nerve (I’m being facetious if that’s not clear) to think they could bring their small purses with minimal personal effects into the venue. They had to walk all the way back to their cars to leave them there - a terrible place to leave valuables in the Bay Area by the way, what with all the break-ins - and then wait in the same inefficiently processed security line, all after the show had already begun.

This is all to say that with these bags, they could have saved themselves a headache and at least 40 minutes of show enjoyment. Frost isn’t the only venue with this policy, and I’m guessing it will be come more commonplace .. add in the fact that you’re supporting children’s music education and it’s a wonder you’ve read this far when you could be buying a bag!
