Ceviche_Mixto Mike's radio announcement @ Coventry reminds me of one year ago today, when the Bunny read the statement from the band to notify official cancellation of Curveball. We had flown in from across the country and driven several hours to arrive at our campsite (which was perfectly dry), finished setting up camp, sat down to crack and beer and prepare for an amazing weekend ... minutes later we received the news and were incredibly bummed and shocked.

But I realize that while Curveball really sucked, it doesn't remotely compare to the magnitude of Coventry. Being the 'last shows ever', compounded with a 30+ hour traffic jam and all the factors that are shown in the documentary must have yielded heightened emotions that are tough to fathom having not been there. The documentary helps depict the scene a bit more, but still tough to imagine what it must have been like ... one of those experiences that you wouldn't fully understand unless you were there.
