hambone024 I'll go along with a lot of what's been said here. Still, I thought a lot of Trey's playing in some of the more technical songs in the first set were pretty cringeworthy. I'm usually pretty forgiving of Trey flubs. He's human, and still amazing. I've loved his depth and creativity this tour. But I found myself feeling like he hadn't even given some of the technical segments much thought going in. A bit of that in Austin, too. With 3.0, Phish started sounding like they were practicing again. This here reminded me a fair amount of what I didn't miss about 2.0. Guelah, Punch, Poor Heart, for instance, suffered. I hope it is just a blip. And I hope Trey is taking notes and going back over it.

He may just have needed a little time. I thought Divided Sky and Coil were good. I was a bit gunshy going in, after what had come.

Admittedly, this is a couch tour opinion. I won't catch my first shows until MPP. Can't wait.
