SkyBallz This is why I read recaps, hoping for something as thoughtful, intellectual, AND emotional as this. The only reason I'm commenting is not to rustle the hair of the reviewer, but to point out that, for me, the tide turned earlier than some fans, and this recapper, unfortunately claim. Utica is when I burst out crying because "PHISH IS BACK"! Utica was the show that made it clear that they were loosening up, having fun again. It took a couple more years for the consistency of that looseness to really take hold, but that show, and especially the 1st set (which is, by the way, My Choice for the "best 1st set of 3.0" ;) was my "aha" moment. It was a glimpse of the re-kindled possibilities, and one of the most hopeful events of my musical life. Coventry, like the Bush re-election, soured me and killed a lot of my hope. Utica changed all (some) of that. It's nice to see that, 4 years later, they break out that sense of playfulness in such a big way....just to remind us that a show like this COULD BE right around every corner. Much love to the Phish community on this Afterglow Day!
