People like to think this song is in an unconventional time signature but it, like SS, is in 4/4. It's the magic of well done syncopation. It's fun to conduct 4/4 to the tune, but if you're not into that, count 1-2-3-4 and snap your fingers, tap your foot, pat your cat's head, whatever you like; when you do, you will find proof that this song is in fact in 4/4 time with GREAT syncopation.
