I would say that your second and third paragraphs were critical of the review, not the reviewer and are therefore exponentially more successful. Someday we'll have a thread that isn't so fucking meta.
Thanks for catching that, I should have said review, not reviewer. There is a huge difference between criticizing a review and criticizing a person. Personal attacks should definitely be off-limits.
