Today marks the 160th installment of's Mystery Jam Monday. On the heels of a rare victory by the Blog, this week's winner will receive TWO MP3 downloads courtesy of our friends at / Nugs.Net. To win, you'll need to be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Good luck!

Answer: First-time winner @Penn42 wins two MP3s, as he impressively identified the post-PYITE 2/13/97 Jam as this week's mystery clip. All-Time MJM Results

funkbeard definitely sounds like a Melt. If I was a little more familiar with the catalogue, this would be easy. I agree about the '95 quality there.

Nice work.

Wow, yeah, right there around 5:45:

Was certain it was fall '95...combed Tweezers and Diseases given the A key, but agreed with the Melt-y feel, especially considering the fleeting C# at the very end of the MMJ clip.

@bl002e: nice pick; way to show how the the '97 sound didn't come together until later that tour.

BillZauggsCabin @Penn42 -> Congrats!

That jam segment is what I'd expect "Twenty Years Later" to sound like if it ever really gets "out there".

mcgrupp81 I listened to this jam a few weeks ago and didn't think much of it the first time around. I read a couple of reviews of it, thought I might have missed something, listened again and still thought the same. Pretty aimless jam and the show could be considered the blobfish of the tour, which I listened to in its entirety a few weeks ago.
